Angela Sokol is a public speaker and an aspiring screenwriter dedicated to promoting peace and understanding through the power of historical storytelling. With a Master’s degree in Jewish Studies from Yeshiva University, Angela brings a deep knowledge of Jewish history and culture to her work, exploring themes of resilience, memory, and reconciliation. Her latest screenplay, The Summer Is Over, chronicles historian Emanuel Ringelblum’s heroic efforts to preserve Jewish voices during the Holocaust in Warsaw, and testifies to the enduring need for dialogue in the face of division.
As a former docent at the Florida Holocaust Museum, Mrs. Sokol guided diverse audiences through the lessons of the past, sparking conversations about tolerance and humanity’s shared future. Today, she draws on this experience to advocate for projects that bridge cultural gaps, with a special focus on Israel’s complex narrative. From the Oneg Shabbat Archive to modern peace initiatives, Angela believes storytelling can illuminate paths to understanding, particularly in regions marked by conflict.
